Describe your best marathon memory.
In 2020, I ran a marathon on my own in my hometown through my favorite places. It was beautiful to walk down memory lane and inspiring to see my old neighbors, childhood friends, and people across town line the streets to cheer me on. Running connects people, and I felt the strength of that connection in that moment. |
Why do you pace?
Running has brought me so much joy in life, and I want to share that joy to bring people to their personal bests, or at least lend a smile to help them along the way. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Pacing the Mohawk Hudson Marathon was so much fun. I managed to slice open my chin with my sign before the race even started, but I was having so much fun I didn’t even notice. I loved getting to meet people and hear their running stories. I was so proud to watch the people in my group cross the finish line, and it made me so happy to see the smiling faces along the way. |
Why should someone run in your pace group? |
If you’re looking for an upbeat, perky individual to support you through your first race or along the way to a PR, I’m your girl. I have a lot of joy and energy to share and I’m excited to spread it around. |
