Describe your best marathon memory.

My family met me along the Myrtle Beach Marathon. My wife, children, nephew, and nieces were holding signs for me. |
Why do you pace?
Very few things are better than helping someone achieve a difficult goal. It gives me a chance to give back to the sport that has been so great to me. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
I’ll keep them entertained, singing songs, talking about running, past and future races. We’ll stay on pace the whole time, though. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
We’ll run the tangents as much as possible. No reason to run more miles than we have to on race day. |
