Why do you run?

It’s fun, it’s relaxing, keeps me stress-free and I love being in good shape.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Running Philadelphia Marathon in 2000 and hitting the wall at mile 23. Few minutes later meeting my running angel, a 55 year old veteran that kept me going through the last few miles. His stories were inspiring and fun at the same time. I remember crossing the finish line and thinking “I made it!”…. thanks to him!

Why do you pace?

I love helping others achieve their running goals. Everyone has an individual goal, and it feels great to be a part of making that goal happen.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Last year pacing the 2:10 group at Go STL half marathon. I had several runners in my group who completed a half marathon for the first time and it was really exciting seeing how proud they felt of their accomplishment.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because I can keep people motivated, and I can be inspiring and fun. Just like the person who helped me finish Philadelphia Marathon back in 2000.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Picture the finish line… it’s going to be an amazing accomplishment. You can do it!!!
