Why do you run?
Running is a huge stress reliever for me. It keeps me in good mental and physical health! |
Describe your best marathon memory.
I don’t really have a favorite marathon memory because they all hold a special place in my heart for different reasons. I cherish the wonderful friendships I have made through my running experiences. |
Why do you pace?
I pace because I love meeting new people and helping people reach their running goals. It is a great way to “give back” to the sport after all of the help that pacers have given me along the way! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I will do my best to deliver and help every runner meet their goals! I don’t often run out of things to talk about, so you can chat as little or as much as you would like. Some people just like to listen and be entertained :0) |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Trust in your training…and hang tough through those last few miles. Everyone is feeling it. |

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I ran my first marathon at Disney for Team in Training. I ran it in honor of my mom after losing her to cancer. I try to volunteer and support missions at our church as much as possible. I have started up a couple of running clubs, one for young girls and one at the school I teach at, to promote running and healthy living along with building positive relationships!
