A quotation you like… |

Why do you run?
|
It’s a lifestyle choice. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
|
I once told a guy, in French, that I wanted to finish in seven minutes. He scoffed and said, “Ha, bonne chance!” I was a bit taken aback by his sarcasm. Then I realized I forgot to translate the “per mile” aspect of that sentence. We were only at the 6th mile. |
Why do you pace?
|
Something new. And because slower paces improve my recovery time. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
|
I’m pretty darn good at running at a consistent pace and I know a ton about form, nutrition, and workout strategies. But, we’ll most likely get off topic and end up solving much of the world’s greater mysteries. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
|
We might walk through a few water stops – best for the joints – but don’t worry we’ll hit our mark. |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
Looking forward to a beer and jambalaya post-race.
|
What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I tutor math for high school students. Our future world leaders, you know.
