Why do you run?

To put as much distance between my former self and who I am today.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Finishing my first marathon in Honolulu in 04 and finishing Florida Ironman.

Why do you pace?

To pay it back and be able to help others achieve their goals.  I love nothing more than watching the finish line at races.  Everyone has a story.  And to get to the finish line sometimes has taken some amazing accomplishments.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

During various races I have run up upon people doing it tough and just talking to them about how they got to the race and that they were not alone has helped them get to that finish line.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because these fast guys pay the same amount to race and don’t get the value for money out there!!! The longer you are out there the more value for money you are getting!!!  A good time will be had by all who run with me!!!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Know that we will get there at the assigned time with a great story to tell of the 26.2 mile journey. The race will be so much more than just hitting the time.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I truly love running marathons.  It has been a life changing experience for me.  I cannot wait to share yours with you.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I am a Firefighter and we are the major charity for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  Fill the Boot is happening every August!!!
