Why do you run?

It clears my head and makes me feel strong.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Space Coast Marathon – Qualifying for Boston. My kids were waiting at the 26-mile marker and they ran the last .2 with me across the victory line. J

Why do you pace?

I know how important pacers have been in my success. I’d like to pay it forward.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I pace my weekend long training runs for my friends. We have a great time when we conserve our energy and chat at a comfortable pace.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I encourage runners to choose a pace group because it’s camaraderie like no other. It can sometimes be difficult to hold back on the first half of the run, no matter what distance, and a pace group ensures an even pace that will bring much success.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Running a marathon is 70% physical readiness and 30% mental toughness. Making it to the starting line uninjured is the hardest part of any marathon, so if you’re here, 70% of the work is done. Together we will conquer the 30% mental toughness in style.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

My family created a non-profit children’s organization called Trikidsrock in 2011. We built muddy obstacle course events, triathlons and running events to the children in the Pinellas County area. The proceeds were donated to the Kiwanis Club, a youth organization.  For over a year we put smiles on hundreds of kids’ faces and promoted a healthy lifestyle.
