Why do you run? |
To live a long and healthy live so I can be there for my family. |
Describe your best marathon memory. |
Running the last mile in Columbus in 2006 and realizing that unless I dropped over dead, I was going to BQ in my first marathon. |
Why do you pace? |
Because of the great experience I had being paced in my first marathon, knowing how much it contributed to what I achieved. |
Tell us your best pacing experience. |
I’m a pacing newbie. See above for best experience being paced. |
Why should someone run in your pace group? |
4:15 is the marathon sweet spot these days. It is the top of the bell curve distribution of marathon finishing times. The more the merrier! |
Any tips for runners about to join your group? |
Discipline at the start. Seconds too fast at the beginning is minutes too slow at the end. Even splits all the way. |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
I’m looking forward to my first experience as a pacer. |
