Why do you run?


For me, running is not only a great way to stay active and in shape, but it also acts as an escape from other aspects of my life. The stress from school and work and relationships can be a lot sometimes, and running is like a break from all of that. Being able to run and achieve my running goals has always been very stress relieving for me.

Describe your best marathon memory.


I was running my first half marathon, and in the last mile I caught up with my brother who was ahead of me for most of the race. For the last mile we basically sprinted together to the finish line constantly pushing each other and it was really exhilarating for all my training to have paid off.

I want to help others reach their running goals.

This is my first pacing experience!

Why should someone run in your pace group?


As someone who has experienced running problems like cramps or running inconsistently or at uneven paces before, I will give advice and encouragement and help them achieve their goals.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?


It can be easy to get lost in the crowd in the beginning of the race, but my tip is to not go fast right away so you don’t burn out. It is okay if other people around you are passing you, just go at the pace that is the most comfortable for you – it’s a competition against yourself, not against others.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

Participating in donations and fundraisers around my community, or doing community service so that I can give back to my community.
