I would like to break 3 hours in a marathon, and 18 minutes in a 5k.

Why do you run?


I run because I enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle. I enjoy having time where I can just get away from the fast pace of life and simply be. Running provides me with many life lessons and constantly challenges me. I also love traveling to new places and meeting like-minded people at different races.

Describe your best marathon memory.


My best marathon memory would be accomplishing my P.R. at the Glass City Marathon. Everything just seemed to go right.

Why do you pace?


I pace because I love helping others reach their goals. I know how important it is to run a strong race after all of the training put into doing a marathon. I know that pacing plays an essential part in running your best marathon.

Tell us your best pacing experience.


My best pacing experience would have to be pacing one of my friends to a Boston Qualifying time at the Kalamazoo Marathon in 2012.

Why should someone run in your pace group?


Someone should run in my pace group because I have many fun stories to tell! I also am a great encouraging others and run even consistent splits.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?


Each marathon provides us with a lesson. My hope is to make the marathon that you run with me a positive and enjoyable one. Always use the hydration stations and don’t forget to body glide!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I enjoy coaching Girls on the Run, and during the summer I counsel at a camp for children that have or had cancer.
