To be spiritual, social, and sane. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
The moment in time during your race that you know you have achieved your goal prior to crossing the finish line. |
Why do you pace?
Helping others is deeply rewarding. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
The moment in time during the marathon that the pace group comes together on a deeper level. After about 20 miles, a close team like atmosphere grows naturally. These miles are always the best experience during pacing. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because I am there for them. I understand the commitment and the responsibility. Coaching and fun are the name of the game. If you just want to come and visit the pace group here and there throughout the marathon that is cool too. All are welcome. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Taper the week before more than you want to. My fastest marathons have been when I have been sick in bed the week before. I’ll tell you the story during the marathon. |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
Relax and enjoy. You have earned it. |

I have served the non-profit communities most of my professional life. Currently I am the CFO of Kohl Children’s Museum. I also serve on several other non-profit boards and organizations.
