Describe your best marathon memory. |
Breaking 3 hours at Grandma’s. There were no chips then so I was sprinting at the end before the clock above the line reached 3:00:00. I was so excited afterward I was jumping around. Really wasn’t sore until the next day and then I really hurt.. |
|
Why do you pace? |
To give back to the sport. I enjoy the banter among the running pack. Its exciting to pace someone thru to their BQ or PR. Very rewarding.. |
|
Tell us your best pacing experience. |
Have paced 1 time – Stillwater Marathon 2009. Had 4 runners with me at the end. Goal was 3:30. I finished in 3:29:58 – 2 guys were ahead of me and 2 runners fell slightly behind. |

Why should someone run in your pace group? |
