Describe your best marathon memory.
New York. This was my first race and it really set a high bar for all other races…nothing comes close to the overall experience from expo to after party, crowd support, having the entire community be on board with the event…even the free subway ride after the race...back to the hotel was a treat!! |
Why do you pace?
The warm and fuzzy feeling you get after helping someone meet their goal …and the encouragement you are able to extend when you pass someone who is “mad” because they missed their goal and happy to know they can finish with you. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Each race offers a new experience. Overall the participants you meet and the stories they share are always a great experience. |

I am an avid Girl Scout volunteer…for 25 years, I’ve been a mentor for over 10 years with at risk High School students so they can earn college scholarships. I coordinate donations to be shipped to Haiti, Jamaica and the Bahamas. I volunteered for 3 yrs with the local library to help adults learn to read. I love helping my community J |
