A quotation you like…

Nothing is impossible. Impossible just takes a little longer.

Why do you run?

To clear my mind, hang out with friends, and eat sweets without (too much) guilt.

Why do you pace?

So many people have encouraged me in my running. Pacing is my way to give back and share the love.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Capital City River Run 2010 was the first race I paced, and since then I've been hooked on pacing. Every race I've paced has been a new, wonderful experience, so it's impossible to pick a best one. I love meeting people and helping them reach their goals.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Friends call me the human metronome because I run a rock-steady pace. I promise I'll get you in under your goal time with consistent mile splits and a smile!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Don't be afraid to chat with me before the race. I'm here for YOU, so please ask me any questions you have. Note: I'm usually a quiet pacer so you can concentrate on your race, but if you want me to tell stories or sing songs (very badly) to get your mind off things, I can do that too. Just ask!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I firmly believe running is for everyone, regardless of size or speed. Avoid comparing yourself with others. Instead, bask in the joy of movement, the contagious energy of race day, the pride in knowing you can set challenging goals and reach them. Race days are special, so enjoy every minute.
