Why do you run?


God has blessed me with a talent and I aspire to use my gift to inspire, engage and motivate other athletes, encouraging improved fitness and health. I run to push my body and test it’s limits, to clear my head, and to enjoy the world beneath my feet.


Describe your best marathon memory.


Recently, I ran the Disney Full Marathon, representing the Florida’s Finest team and not only was it fun to run through the parks and relinquish childhood memories, but crossing the finish line into the arms of my family and incredible support team to finish in 3rd overall was the most memorable experience to date.


Why do you pace?


I enjoy pacing because it gives me an opportunity to use my gift to help others achieve their goals. I love encouraging other athletes to keep running and motivating them to persevere. Also, holding the pace and making sure I am right on my pacing goal is a fun and competitive challenge that keeps it exciting!


Tell us your best pacing experience.


My first pacing experience was at the Palm Beaches Marathon. The course was gorgeous and I had the opportunity to help 4 athletes achieve BQ times and 2 run PRs. Very rewarding experience and even more exciting to run others in than I think it would have been if I had done the race myself!


Why should someone run in your pace group?


I seek to make the whole experience of running a marathon, one that is fun, rewarding and memorable. I encourage those who seek to run the goal time that I am allotted to pacing, to run with me as I am confident that if you stay with me, you WILL achieve that goal.I will motivate, encourage, help, and even make you laugh along the way! J(


Any tips for runners about to join your group?


If you are going to run in my group, expect to be paced BANG ON and get ready to have FUN and ENJOY your marathon experience. Know that I am here to RUN FOR A REASON, HELP YOU along the way, and that you WILL ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS!


Anything else you’d like to share?

I head up the ACTIVE division of Soles4Souls and am excited to engage athletes around the world in “changing lives one pair at a time”. I am also training for the Olympic Trials & USAT ITU AG Nationals and would love to offer up any resources to you as I seek to encourage, motivate, offer training and nutrition tips to help you achieve improved fitness and health!
