Describe your best marathon memory.

Running a race in Beneden-Leeuwen (the Netherlands) and finding myself in the lead. I never got tired and won the race easily.

Why do you pace?

To help others achieving their goals.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

On my first pacing marathon in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) I helped a woman to run a PR. She succeeded, she cried from joy on the finish line, and we received a bottle of champaign from her husband to celebrate her achievement. From that moment on I was a happy and dedicated pacer.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because I love running, I love coaching, and I love pacing.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Be positive, believe in yourself and in your training and you will make it!

What philanthropic activities do you have?
